Our company values are so important to us, but this one has extra weight on World Kindness Day. 🤎

For Harte, being kind is about making recruitment human, and that stands for both inside and outside the office.

When we talk to people who are looking for new roles, it’s vital that we take the time to understand the person behind the CV. One conversation isn’t enough to get to bottom of who are they are, so we follow an initial chat with a second one so we can give them the individual support they need and help them make the most of who they are. 🤗

From a business culture perspective, ‘doing the right thing’ comes in many forms but starts at home. Because we have neurodiversity in the office, we look after each other by making food and drinks for anyone who’s in hyper-focus mode and encourage putting physical mental health first always.

We’re also really keen on showing up for each other out of work, which is why we attended the ‘Abreast The M62’ event last month to support our lovely colleague Christine and the charity work she’s involved with. 💕

So, yes, we’re very much on board with a day that focuses on being kind, but the ‘always’ part of this particular company value is something we take seriously all the time.
