Company & Role: 

 

Harte Recruitment is working with an established residential property business in Manchester to appoint a Property Maintenance Coordinator

 

You’ll be the first point of contact for residents reporting reactive maintenance issues, coordinating contractors and keeping residents and landlords informed from initial report through to completion. Alongside maintenance, you’ll support regulatory and preventative compliance across nominated sites, helping ensure properties remain well maintained, safe and compliant. 

  

  

The Person: 

 

  • Customer service or maintenance experience liaising with landlords and tenants 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication 
  • Strong organisation, time management and attention to detail 
  • Confident problem-solver who works well under pressure 
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively at all levels 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, property/inventory and invoicing software 
  • Property management software and lettings experience desirable 
  • Property maintenance knowledge desirable 
  • ARLA certification desirable but not essential 

 

  

The Property Maintenance Coordinator Role: 

 

  • Respond promptly to resident maintenance reports 
  • Maintain regulatory and preventative compliance across nominated sites 
  • Instruct contractors within required SLAs 
  • Inform landlords of issues and associated costs 
  • Follow up contractors, repairs and agreed timescales 
  • Keep residents updated on progress and delays 
  • Confirm completed repairs meet the required standard 
  • Source suitable contractors across different trades 
  • Process invoices accurately and promptly 
  • Work with the wider team to resolve maintenance and compliance issues
