The Company and Role Purpose:
Harte Recruitment is working with a fast-paced property business in the Leeds area looking to appoint an experienced Sales Manager to help lead, strengthen and bring greater structure to an already successful team.
This is a business with a busy sales operation, continued growth plans and a genuine opportunity for the right person to hold senior influence across the wider business.
This Sales Manager role isn’t about sitting behind reports and ticking KPI boxes. You’ll work closely with the directors on strategy, process improvements and team performance, helping shape the future direction of the business whilst leading from the front operationally. This role has genuine long-term progression potential into a senior board-level position for the right person.
The Package
- £50,000–£65,000 basic salary DOE
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
- Progression and long-term earning potential
- Monday to Thursday 9:00am–5:30pm, Friday 9:00am–5:00pm

The Sales Manager Role
- Managing and developing negotiators
- Running one-to-ones and performance reviews
- Monitoring KPIs and pipeline activity
- Reviewing files and compliance checks
- Improving processes and team efficiencies
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding
- Working closely with senior leadership on business performance and strategy

- Previous sales management experience within the property sector
- A calm, thick-skinned and solutions-focused approach
- Strong leadership, coaching and people management skills
- Commercially aware with a strong understanding of team performance and sales environments
- Calm, credible and solutions-focused under pressure
- Strong communicator who can motivate, coach and support a team effectively
- Naturally respected, confident leading from the front and supporting team development
- Strong organisational and communication skills
