It’s always the quiet ones… 🤫

Not every great hire makes the best first impression or shouts the loudest in the room.

It’s really easy to be drawn to the polished answers and perfectly rehearsed career story when you’re interviewing, but what about the people who have a bit less to say?

Look closer and you might find resilience and untapped leadership potential.

Just because someone doesn’t perform brilliantly in an interview doesn’t mean they wouldn’t perform brilliantly in the right environment. For all you know, it might have taken everything they have to speak in front of people they don’t know.

As recruiters, it’s our job to look under the surface and uncover what’s possible. Sometimes the best hire isn’t the most obvious, it’s the one waiting for someone to recognise what they’re capable of.
