Basic Salary: Up to £25,000 basic salary per annum (DOE)

Specialising in residential lettings, property management, and sales, they are now seeking a proactive and detail-driven
Lettings and Compliance Officer to join their busy lettings team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about maintaining high compliance standards across a dynamic property portfolio.



As a
Lettings and Compliance Officer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring all properties remain legally compliant, safe, and well-maintained, while also supporting the office-based lettings and maintenance teams. You’ll be responsible for coordinating safety checks, maintaining accurate compliance records, liaising with contractors, and assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks that keep the department running smoothly.




The Package:


  • Up to £25,000 basic salary per annum (DOE)
  • Company pension
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, with 1 in 4 Saturdays (9:00am–1:00pm); 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

The Lettings and Compliance Officer Role:


  • Organise and monitor Gas Safety Certificates, EICRs, EPCs, and Fire Safety compliance
  • Liaise with contractors, tenants, and landlords to arrange and track appointments
  • Maintain accurate compliance records and update internal databases
  • Ensure all deadlines are met and chase outstanding certificates or reports
  • Support the lettings team with administrative duties, including handling calls and enquiries
  • Work closely with the repairs team to log and assist with maintenance issues
  • Advise management on compliance risks and support the implementation of internal controls
  • Assist with compliance and customer service queries when required

 


The Person:


  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Confident in a fast-paced environment with strong time management skills
  • Clear and professional communicator with excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Customer-focused and proactive, with a positive and collaborative approach
  • Previous experience in lettings and/or property compliance
