Lettings and Property Manager - 1281645
Basic Salary: £29,000 per annum, plus quarterly performance-based bonuses

Harte Recruitment is proud to be working with a well-established and customer-focused property agency that delivers exceptional service across sales, lettings, and property management. They specialise in residential lettings, property management, valuations, and investment advice. They are now seeking a Lettings and Property Manager to join their dynamic Leeds team and play a key role in driving service excellence and portfolio growth.
As a Lettings and Property Manager, you will manage a small portfolio of residential properties, overseeing tenancy agreements, rent collection, and ensuring all compliance requirements are fully met. You’ll coordinate maintenance and repairs, liaise with contractors, resolve tenant and landlord queries.
The Package:
- Basic Salary is £29,000 per annum, plus quarterly performance-based bonuses
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Business mileage reimbursed
- Regular team nights out and relaxed office catch-ups
- Pool table for breaks and downtime
The Lettings and Property Manager Role:
- Manage a portfolio of residential properties, providing excellent service to landlords and tenants
- Oversee tenancy agreements, renewals, rent reviews, check-ins, and check-outs
- Ensure compliance with legal and safety regulations (gas, electrical, fire safety, deposits)
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, engaging reliable contractors
- Handle landlord and tenant queries and resolve disputes fairly and efficiently
- Provide advice on rental values, market conditions, and property improvements
- Maintain accurate records, financial updates, and documentation
- Support process improvements and implement new systems to enhance efficiency
- Collaborate across lettings and sales, contributing to a dynamic, growing team
- Carry out viewings
The Person:
- Previous experience in property management, lettings, or similar customer-facing roles
- Strong knowledge of property legislation, compliance requirements, and management software
- Client-focused with a hands-on, solutions-oriented approach
- Detail-oriented and accurate in administration and compliance
- Confident, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Enjoys working as part of a collaborative, social, and dynamic team
- Driver and own transport for viewings
