Basic salary: £28-30,000 including car allowance

With a strong presence in the regional property market, they are currently seeking an Assistant Block Manager to join their dynamic team in Leeds. As an Assistant Block Manager, we are considering all Lettings and property management backgrounds across the residential property sector. Training and Support will be provided. 



The Package:

 

  • Salary £28-30,000 including car allowance
  • Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
  • Occasional requirement to attend evening meetings/AGMs
  • Mileage 0.45p per mile
  • Extra holidays given at Christmas closure (discretionary of the business)



The Assistant Block Manager Role:


  • Support the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in day-to-day management of a property portfolio
  • Manage all matters related to common parts of blocks of flats and residential properties with shared grounds
  • Oversee repairs and maintenance and ensure health and safety compliance and update records
  • Manage service charge budgets and communal expenditure with accounts team
  • Oversee major projects and Section 20 notices
  • Act as primary contact for concierges, contractors, and leaseholders
  • Conduct site visits and deliver proactive management
  • Manage cyclical and planned maintenance programs




 The Person:


  • Prior block management experience preferred, but general Lettings and property management or facilities management experience considered
  • Excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptable and flexible to change approach as needed
  • Comfortable working in a small, hands-on team environment including at SLT level
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Must have a full driving licence and own car.
