This is not an account management role, this Business Development Manager position is a revenue-generating role focused on adding new developments and securing tech-enabled lease-up instructions.
This growing PropTech and services business are focused on one thing: helping Build-to-Rent operators lease buildings faster and more effectively. With a model that brings together what is usually fragmented, as Business Development Manager you will be part of a company who encompass the following: marketing, leasing, tech, and on-site delivery into one joined-up solution.

The Package
- Up to £35,000 DOE, OTE £55,000+ (uncapped), will increase basic based on performance within first 12 months.
- 25 days plus Bank holidays
- Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week
- Hybrid working, office based in Manchester

The Business Development Manager Role
You’ll be responsible for identifying, engaging and converting BTR operators and developers into signed instructions.
- Target operators, developers and managing agents across the UK
- Drive consistent outbound activity and keep momentum high
- Secure and lead meetings with senior stakeholders (Heads of Leasing / Asset Management)
- Run clear, commercially led demos and proposals
- Own the full sales cycle through to signed agreements
- Maintain a structured, weighted pipeline with accurate forecasting
- Work to quarterly signage and units added targets
- Clean CRM and disciplined follow-up
The Person
You’re someone who is comfortable owning and building your own pipeline.
- 3+ years B2B sales experience (preferred)
- Background in BTR, lettings, PropTech or developer sales
- Proactive and has proven ability to close deals
- Resilient and comfortable with cold outreach and follow-up
- Clear, direct, commercially grounded communicator
- Able to build trust and driven by results, not just activity
- Organised, working well with structured pipeline, ensuring nothing slips
