Harte Recruitment is representing a luxury housebuilder seeking a Multi-Skilled Operative across the Sheffield Area.
As Multi-Skilled operative, you’ll sit at the heart of the customer experience, delivering high-quality remedial works in occupied homes, from carpentry and plaster patching to decorating. This isn’t a “tick-the-box” role, it’s about doing things properly. Delivering high-quality remedial work and a high-quality customer experience. Always right first time.

The Package
- £36,000, plus discretionary company bonus scheme up to 5% of Basic
- 37.5 hours per week, flexible working hours between 8am - 4.30pm

The Role
- Carry out planned and reactive remedial works in occupied homes
- Complete multi-trade tasks, such as carpentry, plaster patching, decorating
- Manage your diary to meet planned appointments and expectations
- Communicate clearly with homeowners on issues and timelines
- Work closely with the Customer Service team to report trends and recurring defects
- Deliver work safely, efficiently, and right first time
- Follow Health & Safety policies and site regulations
- Maintain stock, materials, and company vehicle
The Person
- Strong multi-trade experience (housebuilding or maintenance)
- A solid understanding of NHBC standards
- The ability to communicate clearly and build trust quickly
- Personable, reliable and trustworthy.
- Diary and time keeping management.
- Clean and tidy worker with pride in the delivery of your work
- Driving Licence (essential)
