An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Conveyancing Assistant to join a busy property team based in Leeds city centre. This role works with both residential and new build teams, offering a varied and fast-paced working environment.
This is a position where client care is a priority, suited to someone who takes pride in delivering a professional, helpful and approachable service. The successful Conveyancing Assistant will be confident managing a high volume of work, maintaining accuracy and organisation throughout.
Previous conveyancing experience is essential, particularly across sales and purchases, allowing the Conveyancing Assistant to step in and add value contributions from day one.

The Role:
- Opening new files and inputting instructions onto the case management system
- Producing relevant documentation and correspondence
- Updating the system in line with matter progression
- Issuing contracts on sale files and assisting with enquiries
- Ordering searches
- Supporting exchanges and handling related paperwork
- Setting up completions
- Issuing mortgage reports to clients
- Managing incoming post where required
- Handling telephone enquiries
- General administrative duties including filing, billing, photocopying and archiving
The Person:
- 1+ year previous experience at a similar level in Conveyancing in sales and purchase (Essential)
- Experience with a fast-paced role
- Strong keyboard skills with good attention to detail
- Literate and numerate with the ability to work accurately
- Confident handling client enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
- Able to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
- Flexible, adaptable and able to work both independently and as part of a team
