Harte Recruitment are excited to share that a growing Leeds-based property buying business is building out its deal team and needs a Property Purchasing Specialist who knows how to spot opportunity, ask the right questions and move with intent. This isn’t about chasing scraps or knocking doors. The enquiries are already there. The structure is in place. Your job is to convert. 
 
As a Property Purchasing Specialist, you’ll be dealing with motivated sellers who want speed, clarity and a straight answer. No fluff, no drawn-out processes. Just proper conversations, strong negotiation and getting deals agreed. 
 
It’s a different pace to traditional agency the emphasis here is on efficient deal-making rather than endless viewings or canvassing. Less time spent spinning plates, more time doing what makes money. If you’re commercially minded, confident in your numbers and enjoy the deal more than the diary, you’ll feel at home


The Package 

  • Up to £40,000 basic plus OTE £80,000 - £100,000+ (uncapped) 
  • Warm inbound leads — no cold prospecting 
  • A modern property buying model designed for high deal volume 
  • Monday - Thursday 9:00 - 17:30, Friday 9:00 - 17:00 + 1 in 3 Saturdays 9:00 - 13:00 
  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays 

 
The Role
 

  • Conduct desktop property valuations to assess potential purchase opportunities 
  • Manage warm inbound seller enquiries and guide vendors through the sales process 
  • Negotiate purchase terms and agree deals with property owners 
  • Build trust quickly with sellers, offering clear and confident property advice 
  • Progress opportunities through to completion within a fast-moving deal environment 
  • Consistently convert conversations and opportunities into completed property acquisitions 

 
The Person
 

  • Background in property buying, property acquisition or investment-focused property roles (essential) 
  • Confident negotiating and closing property deals 
  • Commercially minded with the ability to discuss and assess property values 
  • Naturally able to build rapport with sellers and key stakeholders 
  • Comfortable working within a results-driven, target-focused environment 
  • Enjoys the pace of high deal volumes and quick decision-making 
  • Motivated by earning potential and performance-based rewards
