An exciting opportunity has opened with a fast-moving, Leeds-based property business that’s continuing to grow its education and events function. Harte Recruitment is recruiting an Events & Operations Coordinator to take ownership of the operational engine behind a busy programme of online and in-person events.
This is a role for someone who thrives on structure, precision and problem-solving — where most of your time is spent ensuring online events, systems and processes run seamlessly, supported by hands-on delivery of in-person events throughout the year.
The package:
- Up to £30,000 - £32,000 basic salary per annum DOE
- Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00 (1-hour lunch)
- Remote working available on Thursdays
- Paid mileage
This Events & Operations Coordinator role sits at the centre of the education function and is predominantly operations-led. Around 70% of the role focuses on managing online event logistics, systems, scheduling, and delegate journeys, with the remaining 30% dedicated to planning and delivering in-person events.
You’ll make sure everything works exactly as it should — correct links, accurate registrations, clear communications, smooth facilitation and strong follow-up — while also supporting on-site events as required.
Based primarily in the Leeds office, this is a highly visible role with clear progression into an Events & Operations Manager position as the company continues to scale.
The Events & Operations Coordinator Role:
- End-to-end coordination of education events (in-person and virtual)
- Managing delegate journeys: registrations, communications, attendance tracking and follow-up
- Liaising with venues, suppliers, speakers and internal teams
- Creating and maintaining robust checklists, documentation and workflows
- Setting up and running virtual events (Zoom) with live technical support
- Supporting operational administration, scheduling and process improvement
- Collecting feedback and supporting post-event reporting
The Person:
- Proven experience in events, operations, PA or coordination roles
- Outstanding organisation skills (think “wedding-planner” level)
- Confident, clear communicator who enjoys working with people
- Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong digital skills (Zoom, Microsoft Office / Google Workspace, project tools)
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)
- Flexibility to work the odd Saturday during events with time off in lieu during the week
- Flexibility to attend a 2-week working event abroad (all paid for)
