The Company and Role Purpose:
Harte Recruitment is working with a long-established independent Estate Agency known for its strong local reputation, repeat business and hands-on approach to property.
They’re now looking to appoint a Property Consultant into a varied “all-rounder” role, giving you the opportunity to gain real exposure across Residential Sales, Lettings and Property Management.
This is a perfect opportunity for someone wanting to build a long-term career in property while learning which area suits them best. Rather than being boxed into one department, you’ll get involved across the full property journey, build hands-on experience and develop a genuine understanding of how Estate Agency works day-to-day.

The Package
- Up to £27,000 basic with OTE up to £30k
- Realistic earning potential with basic and overall packages tailored to experience, performance and output. What you put in, is what you will get out!
- 22 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing with service)
- Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 5pm
- Some Saturdays required throughout the year and time in lieu provided.
- Ongoing training and support across Sales, Lettings and Property Management

The Property Consultant Role
- 60% Lettings & Property Management related tasks
- 40% Residential Sales related tasks (all trainable)
- Driving sales and lettings deals including negotiations, viewings, and inspections
- Owning and managing a live rental portfolio
- Delivering a standout experience to landlords, tenants, buyers, and sellers
- Producing tenancy agreements and contracts with precision
- Keeping records sharp and reporting on all lettings & management activity
- Spotting opportunities to introduce clients to conveyancing, financial services, auctions and more
- Staying on top of compliance and operational standards no shortcuts
The Person
- Proven experience in Lettings and Property management (desirable)
- Residential sales experience (desirable but not essential)
- A genuine interest in building a long-term career within property
- Someone who enjoys variety and learning different areas of the industry
- Organised, proactive and willing to get stuck in wherever needed
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with clients
- Positive attitude with a team-first mindset
- Professional, approachable and eager to develop
- Full UK Driving License and own car (essential)
