The Company and Role Purpose:
Harte Recruitment is working with a fast-scaling property business with a high-volume inbound engine is looking for a Sales Floor Manager to take control of performance and raise the standard of conversion across the sales function in West Yorkshire.
This is not a maintenance role. It’s an opportunity to bring structure, pace, and accountability into a busy environment and materially improve how leads are handled, qualified, and converted.
As Sales Floor Manager, you’ll take ownership of the sales floor, shaping how the team operates day-to-day, tightening processes, improving conversations, and building a more disciplined, high-performing culture. The business already has strong lead flow and momentum; the focus now is on maximising output, improving quality, and scaling effectively.
The Package
- Up to £45,000 with realistic OTE £70,000-£100,000
- Uncapped bonus structure
- Hybrid working (Leeds/North Bradford based, 3–4 days in office)

The Sales Floor Manager Role
- Take full ownership of a busy, inbound-led sales floor
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5–10 sales negotiators (with growth planned)
- Drive improvements across conversion, follow-up, and pipeline management
- Implement clear daily structure: huddles, pipeline reviews, coaching, and accountability
- Ensure every lead is worked properly and no opportunity is left unmanaged
- Maintain full visibility and control of pipeline performance and deal progression
- Stay hands-on and credible with the team by remaining sharp on the phones and personally handling some opportunities where needed (approximately 70% leadership / 30% hands-on sales activity)
- Step into deals where needed to support alignment and conversion
- Challenge poor standards and address underperformance directly
- Own CRM discipline, ensuring accurate data, clear next steps, and clean pipeline management
- Track and improve key KPIs across activity, conversion, and pipeline health
- Help embed and strengthen a more office-based, high-performance culture
The Person
- 5+ years leading high-performing, inbound or phone-led sales teams, with a track record of improving conversion through hands-on coaching and structure (ideal)
- Experience in a Property related role (ideal but not essential)
- Proven experience leading high-performing inbound or phone-based B2C sales teams
- Strong coaching and people management ability
- Commercially sharp with a strong understanding of sales performance and conversion
- Comfortable challenging poor standards and driving accountability
- Confident operating in a fast-paced, high-pressure sales environment
- Strong communicator with the ability to motivate and develop people
- Highly organised with excellent pipeline and CRM management skills
- A natural people person who can build rapport quickly and read customers effectively
