Basic Salary: £25,000 (DOE) with realistic OTE of £28,000–£30,000+

The Company and Role Purpose:
Harte Recruitment is working alongside a well-established Estate Agency in Bradford to appoint a Sales Negotiator.
This opportunity would suit a driven Sales Negotiator who enjoys working in a busy, enquiry-led office and wants to earn consistently within a stable, established team. With strong brand presence and high levels of reactive business, you’ll spend more time progressing deals and less time chasing cold opportunities.
The role is predominantly sales-focused, with light involvement on the Lettings side — booking viewings and issuing application forms before handing over to a dedicated Lettings team. There is no valuing required, allowing you to focus on what you do best: negotiating and driving deals through to completion.
Performance is centred around maintaining a steady pipeline and achieving approximately 4–5 completions per month. This is about consistency and reliability rather than short bursts followed by quiet periods.
The Package:
- £25,000 basic salary (DOE)
- Realistic OTE £28,000–£30,000+
- 3% commission per completed sale
- £35 per lettings move-in
- Additional mortgage & solicitor referral commission
- Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week
- 1 in 4 Saturdays (10am–4pm) with half a day in lieu
The Sales Negotiator Role:
- Register buyers and understand their requirements
- Book and conduct property viewings
- Negotiate offers between buyers and vendors
- Progress sales through to completion
- Manage and nurture your pipeline
- Handle inbound enquiries and convert opportunities
The Person:
- Residential sales and/or lettings experience (essential)
- Money-motivated and target-driven
- Confident handling a high volume of calls
- Consistent in performance
- Calm and resilient under pressure
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle (essential)
