They are currently seeking an experienced Compliance and Risk Manager to join their Manchester-based team on a hybrid working basis, with 2–3 days per week working from home. This is a pivotal role for a professional who is passionate about governance, risk management, and ensuring full compliance with legislative and industry standards within the property sector.


As a Compliance and Risk Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering compliance and risk strategies, working closely with internal teams to uphold operational integrity while supporting a positive, proactive, and professional working culture, while benefiting from the flexibility of hybrid working.



The Package:

The Compliance and Risk Manager Role:


  • Leading and managing compliance and risk strategies across the property portfolio
  • Ensuring adherence to all relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining robust compliance policies and procedures
  • Conducting regular risk assessments for residential and commercial properties
  • Managing day-to-day health & safety, compliance, and risk matters
  • Overseeing compliance across developments, contractors, and internal teams
  • Ensuring compliance with legislative, financial, and customer service requirements
  • Maintaining building safety cases and the golden thread of information
  • Liaising with internal teams to ensure best practise and continuous improvement
  • Supporting audits, inspections, and regulatory requirements



The Person:


  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in property compliance or risk management
  • Knowledge of building safety, health & safety, and CDM regulations
  • Strong risk assessment and compliance monitoring skills
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Confident communication skills at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional, proactive, and solution-focused
